these hours and at busy times. Our shop is open to callers 9.00am

MAIL ORDER We accept payment by BACS, cheque, Postal
Order, Visa or MasterCard. If paying by card, please supply the card
number and security number, the expiry date and the name and address
of the cardholder. Please make cheques and Postal Orders payable to
Touchstone Tonewoods. To avoid overpayments, which may occur if items
ordered are out of stock, please leave amounts blank and endorse with
an upper limit 'not to exceed (value of order)'. We will then complete
the amount with the exact value of the invoice.
Please supply your name, delivery address including postcode, and
a daytime telephone contact number. This will enable us to process
orders quickly and will also help should you wish to place further
orders with us in the future. If any item ordered is out of stock,
we will where possible supply the nearest equivalent from stock unless
requested not to do so. Unfulfilled orders will be credited or refunded.
Loss or damage to items in transit must be notified to us immediately
and in any case within 7 days of the date of despatch.
PRICES Whilst every attempt is made to adhere to
prices quoted in our catalogue and on our website, prices charged
are those ruling at the time of despatch. Price changes due to changes
in VAT rates, currency fluctuations, or other factors beyond our control
may be applied without prior notice.
DELIVERY AND PACKAGING CHARGES All goods supplied
by mail order will be subject to a delivery and packaging charge of
£3.50 plus VAT for Royal Mail letter post packages (i.e. fits
in a Jiffy bag) and £5.50 plus VAT for all other orders (via
UPS) for orders up to a value of £350 ex VAT. Orders over a
value of £350 ex VAT will be sent with no delivery and packaging
charges. These charges apply to UK mainland delivery addresses. Offshore
charges are available on request. These charges are subject to change
without notice.
RETURN OF GOODS Goods may not be returned for replacement
or credit without first obtaining a 'Returns Reference number' from
our sales office. This number must be quoted on the carton being returned.
Adequate packing of goods being returned is the customer's responsibility.
When any of these conditions are not met, or the reason for return
is not clearly our liability, the return may be refused or a handling
and restocking charge may be levied at our discretion. No timber can
be accepted back once work has been started on it.
CARRIAGE CLAIMS Claims for loss or damage to items
in transit or short shipments must be made within 7 working days of
the date of despatch as shown on the transport note. For all such
claims we must be advised of the relevant Touchstone Tonewoods order
number that appears on the transport note and invoice.
PARCELS MUST ALWAYS BE SIGNED FOR AS 'UNEXAMINED'
ONLY SIGN FOR THE NUMBER OF PARCELS DELIVERED AT THAT TIME |
If this
standard procedure is not followed, claims for damage to items in
transit or short shipments cannot be considered.
OTHER CLAIMS All other claims must be made within
30 days from the date of invoice, except in the case of goods developing
later faults, which must be reported immediately on discovery.
MARKETING Marketing material may be sent to the customer by
electronic mail, fax or post unless a written request to the contrary
is received by Touchstone Tonewoods from the customer.

| RETENTION
OF TITLE AND PASSING OF OWNERSHIP AND RISK |
All goods remain the property of Touchstone until all monies owed
by the Customer to Touchstone have been paid in full.
The products and any other goods delivered by Touchstone to the Customer
shall be at the Customer's risk from the time of delivery to the Customer
by Touchstone or its delivery agent. The Customer acknowledges that
it is in possession of all such goods as bailee for Touchstone until
such a time when they are sold and delivered to a bona fide purchaser
who pays for the same. Until delivery to a purchaser the Customer
undertakes to store such goods on its premises separately from its
own goods or those of any other person and in a manner which makes
them readily identifiable as Touchstone's goods.
The Customer's right to possession of such goods shall cease:
a) If it does anything or fails to do anything which would entitle
a receiver to take possession of any assets or which would entitle
any person to present a petition for the bankruptcy or winding up
of a Customer.
b) Upon notice being sent by Touchstone to the Customer cancelling
such right which it may send at any time prior to payment in full
of all monies due to Touchstone (and such notice shall conclusively
be deemed to have been received on the day of service if sent by facsimile
telecopier or the day after posting if sent by first class ordinary
post).
Touchstone may for the purpose of examination or recovery of its goods
enter upon any premises where they are stored or where they are reasonably
thought to be stored. Touchstone shall be entitled to remove such
goods from the premises (including severance from the realty where
necessary). The entire proceeds however arising of such goods shall
be held in trust for Touchstone and shall not be mingled with any
other money paid into any overdrawn bank account and shall at all
times be identifiable as Touchstone's money.
The Customer warrants that it is not at the time of entering this
Agreement insolvent and knows of no circumstances which would entitle
any creditor to appoint a receiver or to petition for bankruptcy or
winding up or to exercise any other rights over or against its assets.
