Wood purfling for decorative edge inlay, backstrips and soundhole rings or rosettes. Described as marquis herringbone, it has a fine coloured centre strip incorporating brown, red, green, white and black with black borders. This pattern is often used as a backstrip, as it is wider than most purflings. Dimensions: 4.5mm (W) x 2.8mm (D) x 800mm (L).
